ENGLISH TEACHER
With over 20 years of experience teaching English, I’ve worked with the East London School of English and the British Council in both the UK and Spain, delivering engaging lessons to students from all over the world. I’ve taught groups in a variety of professional and educational settings, including EA Sports, Caja Madrid, and on-site with English Group and the British Council Madrid—both in the academy and in schools.
Teaching English is more than a job for me—it’s a passion. I love instilling confidence, improving fluency, and helping students thrive in international environments. My lessons are fun, dynamic, and focused on vocabulary building, which is one of my key strengths. I hold a CELTA, as well as a Degree in English and Spanish, and I bring warmth, experience, and energy into every classroom.
BRITISH ONLINE TUTOR - KEY STAGE 2 (BRITISH EDUCATION)
I teach within the British education system, and have supported children both in schools and online. I’ve taught Year 4 and Year 6 at the International School of Madrid, and for the past 7 years, I’ve provided private online tutoring to children preparing for KS2 SATs and beyond.
I help children quickly improve their grammar, spelling, and written organisation, while keeping lessons fun and stress-free. I also clearly explain UK maths methods such as long division, the “bus stop” method, and column addition/subtraction—giving children the tools and confidence they need to succeed. I hold a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham, and I’m passionate about making British learning approachable and enjoyable.
